Mobile & Full-Stack Developer

I build mobile apps and the backends behind them, then I record myself explaining how they work.

    RMS

    Restaurant Management System

Waiters need a way to manage each table's orders and tell the kitchen right away. They can't always be at a desktop, but they always have a phone in hand. That's where RMS comes in. Shipped as a signed APK and a production app bundle.

A pre-release code review turned up 12 fixes: startup tenant lockout, 401 handling, session restore, duplicate login submission, a null-user crash and the Android release config.

React Native / Expo / TypeScript / TanStack Query / STOMP over WebSocket / EAS Build / Jest

  2. AMS app: a student's attendance history grouped by day, with Present and Absent tags

students see their daily attendance at a glance

    teachers get the attendance overview

    AMS

    Academic Management System

One mobile app for students and teachers. Students see attendance history grouped by day, notices and academics; teachers mark attendance per subject and section. Admins can't sign in on mobile. The web side comes next, in Next.js.

Offline banner, skeleton loaders, a slow-network notice, and real empty and error states.

    Sales & inventory management

A full-stack web app for tracking stock and sales. Admins get totals and low-stock warnings; salespeople get a dashboard of their own sales.

04 — Notes

Notes from the work

  1. Logbook #5 — 27 Aug 2026

Full review of services, hooks and screens. Fixed the release config, tenant lockout, 401s, session restore, duplicate login and a null-user crash. Release APKs can't run in Expo Go: native modules need a dev build.

  2. Logbook #6 — 30 Aug 2026

First signed .apk on a real device. Dynamic QR: verification, not HTTP success, confirms payment. A network failure doesn't mean a failed payment.

  3. Logbook #7 — 3 Sep 2026

STOMP live events with JWT, heartbeat and backoff reconnect. Native apps send no Origin, so the handshake was refused. Fixed-interval reconnects hammer the server.

  4. Logbook #8 — 7 Sep 2026

Local notifications on a dedicated live-alerts channel. Built a WebSocket proxy as a practice workaround, not a production fix.

  5. Logbook #9 — 10 Sep 2026

Jest set up: 14 suites, 132 tests, about 55% coverage. Native mocks must mirror the real APIs, or they give false confidence.

  6. Logbook #10 — 13 Sep 2026

Production app bundle validated. The WebSocket proxy is a single point of failure, so a flag fallback and the offline banner keep the app healthy.

05 — About

Learning by building

I'm studying for a Bachelor of Information Management at Orchid International College (2022–now). From July to October 2026 I was a mobile app intern, building a React Native staff app from code review to a signed production build.

Next I'm building the web side of AMS, the academic management system I'm building on my own, in Next.js. This site is where I learned it. I live in Nakkhu, Lalitpur.
